Description
Summary:During Maria S. Merian cruise MSM73 station-based vertical profiles of horizontal current velocity were measured using a pair of 300-kHz-ADCPs lowered with the CTD/rosette. The major objective of the cruise was to investigate the strength and the intra- to interannual variability of the oceanic circulation and the water mass structure in the southern and northwestern subpolar North Atlantic. In total 172 cast were made during the period from April 6 to May 22, 2018. The data have been processed with LDEO Software Version IX-13.
