Description
Summary:This dataset contains stable isotope (carbon, oxygen) as well as Radiocarbon ages from North Atlantic sediment core SU90-08. The radiocarbon ages were measured on benthic (mixed species) as well as on planktonic (single species) using both classical graphite targets and MICADAS coupled with a gas introdcution system. Radiocarbon measurements were performed at ETH Zürich and Chrono center Belfast. The stable carbon and oxygen isotope measurements were performed on benthic foraminifera C. Wuellestorfi at LSCE, Gif sur Yvette. The radiocarbon measurements cover the last 25 ka (cal BP) and the stable isotopes measurements cover the last 40 ka.Please refer to the article "Radiocarbon dating of small sized foraminifer samples: insights into marine sediment mixing"accessible at: doi:10.1017/RDC.2020.13 for further information."
