Any other usage needs formal approval by the Lovén Centre.The ROV used was an Ocean Modules V8 Offshore belonging to the Sven Lovén Centre for Marine Sciences at the University of Gothenburg. It was equipped with one forward-looking High Definition (HD) video camera (1920x1080 px) and two standard video cameras (720x576 px). Two parallel green lasers provided a reference scale of 6.5 cm in the videos of the HD camera. Lighting was ensured by eight LED lights.The ROV was piloted by Roger Johansson and Emil Anderson (Sven Lovén Centre, University of Gothenburg). Ground work consisted of different measurements and water sampling in the vicinity of sponges while the ROV was stationary on the seafloor and was recorded by the HD video camera.
