Description
Summary:Within the framework of the Arctic expedition MSM29 in June / July 2013 (RV Maria S. Merian), AWI's autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) "PAUL" was deployed in the marginal ice zone of the Fram Strait. The scientific payload included a Contros HydroC pCO2 sensor. The vehicle conducted two 10 km long transects which were orientated perpendicularly to the ice associated meltwater front. Along its path, the vehicle recorded 22 vertical profiles of the water column (between 50 m water depth and the surface). The data have not been corrected with regard to the sensor's response time.
