Snow grain size and type determination at sea ice ice stations during Polarstern cruise PS89 (ANT-XXX/2)

Measurements were obtained doing classical snow pits at every (snow-covered) ice station during PS89. Snow pits were taken once per ice station at a representative location of the floe. Measurments were done on an undisturbed shaded working wall of the snow pit.
