Description
Summary:Located at approx. 550 m a.s.l. looking ESE on the Bayelva catchment, involving the Bayelva station, CCT and the village of Ny-Ålesund. Orthorectified images at 1m resolution of the camera scene (in UTM zone 35), ranging from the W side of the Bayelva (left), the Brøggerbreen moraines (bottom), Ny-Ålesund airport and village (top), and the road to Zeppelinfjellet (right). The absolute referencing accuracy is about 5 m in the W (left part) and 50 - 100 m in the E (right part). Buildings and elevated structures cause strong distortions and image errors. We provide both geopreferenced images in the geotiff-format (readable e.g. in ArcGIS) and unreferenced jpg images for easy overview.
