Description
Summary:This dataset was generated in the frame of the co-operation between the Reserva Anihue (http://www.anihuereserve.cl), the Huinay Scientific Field Station (http://www.huinay.cl) and the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research (http://www.awi.de). If you intend to work with this data set please do not hesitate to contact the authors to discuss cooperation possibilities. Holes were drilled in the bare rock and recruitment plates mount: Polyethylene frames, supported tiles. Each plastic frame has the dimensions 21.5 cm by 17.5 cm (376.25 cm**2). The plastic frame is branded with a number and writing to prevent confusion. One recruitment tile (15.5 cm by 15.5 cm) is held in place by two plastic washers and screws, which root the tile to the hard plastic frame. The tile is composed of a roughed chequered ceramic material. Camera used: Intova IC 12. Under water photographs are taken regularly.
