Summary:This 2011 R/V Langseth expedition collected MCS data across the transition from the Chukchi Shelf to the Chukchi Borderland as part of the Chukchi Edges Project. The goals were to image the transition between these two continental blocks in order to constrain the history and timing of relative motion between them and to establish the time stratigraphy along seismic profiles. The survey collected multichannel seismic reflection data and sonobuoy data. This data set presents processed MCS data. Detail of the processing are explained in the paper by Ilhan and Coakley (2018). This program was funded by National Science Foundation award OPP-0909568 which paid for the acquisition, processing, and interpretation of the two-dimensional multi- channel seismic (MCS) reflection profiles. ...
