Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with the Knudsen 3260 3.5kHz CHIRP system during the 2019 R/V Marcus G. Langseth cruise MGL1903 (Co-Chief Scientists: Anne Becel and Geoff Abers. Investigators: David Foster, Anne Becel, Anne Sheehan, Emma Myers, Peter Haeussler, Geoff Abers, Aubreya Adams, Emily Roland, Susan Schwartz, Donna Shillington, Spahr Webb, Douglas Wiens, Lindsay Worthington). The image files are in PNG format and contain sub-bottom data that has been processed. These 8-bit gray scale images were created for browsing purposes from the corresponding SEG-Y data files. Some of the profiles were generated from swell-filtered SEG-Y files. See the associated Knudsen data processing report in the SEG-Y data set for more details of the data processing steps. The data set was generated as part of the project called the Alaska Amphibious Community Seismic Experiment (AACSE). Funding was provided by NSF award OCE16-54568. ...
