Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Thermosalinograph, Fluorometer, Echosounder Sonar, and Navigation system during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0201A conducted in 2002 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Robert Beardsley). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Visible Radiation, Salinity, Fluorescence, Conductivity, Bathymetry, Navigation, Temperature, Infrared Radiation, and Meteorological data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): SO GLOBEC:Circulation and Water Property Evolution and SO GLOBEC:Mysticete Whale Acoustic Census in the GLOBEC West Antarctic Project Area, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT99-10007.
