Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Thermosalinograph, Echosounder Sonar, Meteorological Sensor, Navigation system, and Fluorometer during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP1002 conducted in 2010 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Jose Torres). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Visible Radiation, Bathymetry, Conductivity, Meteorological, Salinity, Fluorescence, Temperature, Infrared Radiation, and Navigation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Collaborative research: Possible climate−induced change in the distribution of Pleuragramma antarcticum on the Western Antarctic Peninsula shelf., WAP−flux: New Tools to Study the Fate of Phytoplankton Production in the West Antarctic Peninsula, and Reconciling the marine and terrestrial records of glaciation of the South Shetland Islands, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT07-41348.
