Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Gravimeter and Subbottom Profiler during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP9904 conducted in 1999 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Gary Klinkhammer). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Bathymetry, Gravity (Field and Free Air Anomaly) data that were processed during the cruise. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Heat and Chemical Exchange During the Early Stages of Back-Arc Rifting in a Polar Region: Hydrothermal Activity in Bransfield Strait, Antarctica and Multibeam Sea Test, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP97-25972
