Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Navigation system, Knudsen 320BR Echosounder Sonar, Thermosalinograph, and Fluorometer during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0602 conducted in 2006 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Laurence Madin). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Infrared Radiation, Navigation, Fluorescence, Visible Radiation, Salinity, Conductivity, Temperature, Bathymetry, and Meteorological data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Salpa thompsoni in the Southern Ocean: Bioenergetics, population dynamics and biogeochemical impact, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT03-38090.
