Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Knudsen 320BR Echosounder Sonar, Meteorological Sensor, Navigation system, Fluorometer, and Thermosalinograph during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0413A conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Ronald Naveen). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Meteorological, Bathymetry, Salinity, Infrared Radiation, Navigation, Fluorescence, Temperature, Visible Radiation, and Conductivity data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Long-Term Data Collection at Select Antarctic Peninsula Visitor Sites and Cape Shirreff Field Camp Opening, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT02-30069.
