Summary: | This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Fluorometer, Thermosalinograph, Navigation system, and Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0701 conducted in 2006 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Steve Cande). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Bathymetry, Navigation, Conductivity, Fluorescence, Infrared Radiation, Meteorological, Visible Radiation, Salinity, and Temperature data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): The connection between mid-Cenozoic seafloor spreading and the western Ross Sea Embayment, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT04-40959. |
