Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Knudsen 320BR Subbottom Seismic system, Thermosalinograph, Fluorometer, Meteorological Sensor, and Navigation system during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0706 conducted in 2007 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Bruce Sidell; Investigator(s): Dr. Bruce Sidell and Dr. Dan Costa). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Navigation, Fluorescence, Conductivity, Infrared Radiation, Bathymetry, Meteorological, Salinity, Visible Radiation, and Temperature data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Habitat Utilization of Southern Ocean Seals: Foraging Behavior of Crabeater and Elephant Seals Using Novel Methods of Oceanographic Data Collection and Differential Expression of Oxygen-Binding Proteins in Antarctic Fishes Affecting Nitric Oxide-Mediated Pathways of Angiogenesis and Mitochondrial Biogenesis., and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT04-37887 and ANT04-40687.
