Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2112 Multibeam Sonar system during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0106 conducted in 2001 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Martin Visbeck). These data files are of MBSystem Compatible format and include Acoustic Backscatter, Swath Bathymetry, and Sidescan data that have not been processed. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Acquisition and Operation of Broadband Seismograph Equipment at Chilean Bases in the Antarctic Peninsula Region, Open Cape Sherriff Field Camp, and CORC-Arches, and funding was provided by NSF grant ANT98-14622.
