Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2112 Multibeam Sonar system during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0002 conducted in 2000 (Chief Scientist: Dr. James Austin). These data files are of MBSystem Compatible format and include Acoustic Backscatter, Swath Bathymetry, and Sidescan data that have not been processed. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): The Young Marginal Rift as a Key to Understanding the Rift-Drift Transition and Andean Orogenesis: OBS Refraction Profiling for Crustal Structure in the Bransfield Strait, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP98-14041.
