Summary: | The Skvortsov Herbarium of the Main Botanical Garden, Russian Academy of Sciences (MHA) in 1945-1980s dealt with vascular plants and only scatterred occasional collections of bryophytes and lichens accumulated there without special arrangement. Since late 1980s, the bryophyte accessions in the MHA Herbarium became permanent and several project were started since then, inclcuding currently conducted "Moss Flora of Russia". There are many white spots on the map of bryophyte exploration of Russia, but one of the most conspicuous was Yakutia, the largest administrative unit of Russia, covered 3,081,000 sq. km. Yano-Indirirka physiographic region includes Verkhoyanky Range and some smaller mouintain areas and is one of the lagrest, thus it attracted species attention of bryologists. Several expedition in 2000-2018 yielded in many specimens, partly published in a number of paper, but never summarized. This dataset comprehensively represents the diversity of the region.
