Description
Summary:Bottom-moored short-term sediment trap arrays were deployed at 7 stations in three East Greenlandic fjords. The deployments were conducted in Dove Bay (1 station), Arden Caple fjord (3 stations) and Kong Oscar Fjord (3 stations) and lasted for 21.5-23.5 hours. After recovery, a subsample of 100 mL was collected from the sediment trap cylinders (KC Denmark, 72 mm inner diameter, aspect ratio: 6.25) deployed at the sampling depths 20, 30, 50, 90, and 120 (or 200) m. The samples were preserved with 2 mL acidic Lugol solution, stored cool (+4 C) and in darkness, until the microscopical analysis.
