Summary:A dataset containing 197 species occurrences available in GBIF matching the query: BasisOfRecord: Observation Country: Antarctica Year: 1950-2017 TaxonKey: Megaptera novaeangliae (Borowski, 1781). The dataset includes 197 records from 4 constituent datasets: 1 records from Marine birds and mammals of the Southern Ocean (a census for the CAML). 99 records from Cetacean Sightings Survey and Southern Ocean Cetacean Program - BROKE-West. 87 records from Whale catches in the Southern Ocean. 10 records from Whale log - observations from ANARE voyages. Data from some individual datasets included in this download may be licensed under less restrictive terms.
