Description
Summary:The dataset includes the list of plant species registered in 14 releves of association Aegopodio alpestris–Laricetum sibiricae made along the Abaza-Ak-Dovurak route. These forests prevail in the forest belt of the southern macroslope of the western part of West Sayan. Their tree layer is composed of Larix sibirica with a constant admixture of Pinus sibirica. In the shrub layer Rhododendroth dauricum dominates, Lonicera altaica, Spiraea chamaedrifolia are common. Taiga species (Linnea borealis, Vaccinium vitis-idaea) dominate in the herb-shrub layer mountain (Aegopodium alpestre) and alpine (Festuca sphagnicola, Bistorta vivipara, Saussurea alpina) species are constant. The closed moss cover is composed by Pleurozium schreberi and Hylocomium splendens. *For mosses and lichens, only the most widespread species are included in the list.
