Description
Summary:This dataset includes concentrations of Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC) from sea water. Samples were collected on March 2021 as part of cruise 2021703, Q1, in the northern Barents Sea as part of the Nansen Legacy project. Sea water was sampled at four different stations using Niskin bottles attached to a rosette onboard R/V Kronprins Haakon. Three biological replicates were collected per depth and only averages are reported. Sea water samples were filtered on pre-combusted Whatman GF/F filters. DOC analysis was performed via high temperature catalytic oxidation method using Total Organic Carbon Analyzer (TOC-L CPH/CPN™, Shimadzu). Potassium hydrogen phthalate (KHP, Merck) was used for external calibration. Sample accuracy for every run was determined by analyzing seawater reference samples obtained from the University of Miami (Hansell research laboratory) placed throughout sample runs and repeatability was > 96%. ... : 4 application/x-netcdf, totaling ...... 20.34 KB 4 text/plain, totaling ...... 128 B ...
