Summary:During the project Microsnow, field sampling was conducted at station Svartnes, Balsfjorden, Norway in June 2017 and June 2018. The downward flux of the following parameters was determined with short-term sediment traps (KC Denmark type) i) chlorophyll a (Chl a) total (> 0.7 micrometre) (unit mg m^-s d^-1), ii) particulate organic carbon (POC) (>0.7 micrometre) (unit mg m^-2 d^-1), iii) particulate organic nitrogen (PON) (>0.7 micrometre) (unit mg m^-2 d^-1), iv) the atomic ratio of PON:PON at 20, 30, 50, 90, 120 m depth (sampling depths sediment trap cylinders). During deployment Deployment_20180612_13_extra only four water depths were sampled (20, 30, 50, 90 m).
