Ocean output of TMI model Pleistocene Milankovitch cycle experiments ...

Model results for the experiments done with the TMI (version 7) model. The North Atlantic (within 50-80°N and 100°W-20°E) and Southern Ocean (≥ 60°S) were forced at the air-sea boundary with normalized Pleistocene (2 Ma to present) solar insolation timeseries at 65°N and 65°S respectively, for 200 k...

Description
Summary:Model results for the experiments done with the TMI (version 7) model. The North Atlantic (within 50-80°N and 100°W-20°E) and Southern Ocean (≥ 60°S) were forced at the air-sea boundary with normalized Pleistocene (2 Ma to present) solar insolation timeseries at 65°N and 65°S respectively, for 200 kyr. The model had a 200y time step and the time resolution is therefore a 1000 time steps. The relative strength of the North Atlantic and Southern Ocean sources (the S/N ratio) is explored in the different experiments (listed under attribute experiment_id_list), by multiplication of the Southern Ocean insolation forcing with the S/N ratio. See the Morée et al. Paper in Geophysical research letters ‘Cancellation of the precessional cycle in δ18O records during the Early Pleistocene’ for further details on the model, the model forcing and the model experiments. ... : 9 Hierarchical Data Format (version 5) data, totaling ...... 9.51 GB 10 Hierarchical Data Format (version 5) data, totaling ...... 10.56 GB ...
