Summary:This dataset contains the percentage abundance of dominant benthic foraminifera (%) and Biofacies abundance (%) at International Ocean Drilling Program Site U1541 in the Central South Pacific (Southern Ocean) for the Late Miocene to Pliocene period. An additional datasheet contains Orbulina spp., Ostracoda, Ice Rafted Debris & detrital, Benthic foraminifera (>125μm), Planktic foraminifera (>125μm), and Planktic vs Benthic foraminifera ratio (>125μm) in per gram of dry sediment, finer fraction (<63μm; in %), Total Organic Carbon (%), and CaCO₃ (%) for the same period from the same Site.
