Description
Summary:In order to explore the epigenetic mechanism underlying oyster reproductive process, the whole genomic bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) was performed on Pacific oyster before (group A, three biological replicates) and after (group B, three biological replicates) spawning. The results suggested that DNA methylation-mediated energy metabolism could regulate the phenotypic plasticity during oyster reproduction. Detailed information in genomic methylated sites were shared here, including methylation distribution, methylation level and annotation.
