Increasing difference in interannual summertime surface air temperature between interior East Antarctica and the Antarctic Peninsula under future climate scenarios

By using the Climate Model Intercomparison Project 5 (CMIP5) simulations and empirical orthogonal function (EOF) analysis, the first mode of variability in detrended surface air temperature (SAT) in Antarctica (EOF1) was examined for the period of 1979-2004 and 2051-2099 during the austral spring (S...

Description
Summary:By using the Climate Model Intercomparison Project 5 (CMIP5) simulations and empirical orthogonal function (EOF) analysis, the first mode of variability in detrended surface air temperature (SAT) in Antarctica (EOF1) was examined for the period of 1979-2004 and 2051-2099 during the austral spring (September to November), summer (December to February), autumn (March to May), and winter (June to August). This dataset provides the EOF1 of 21 CMIP5 models and their ensemble mean. All files are saved as mat file and can be uploaded by using MATLAB.
