Description
Summary:The analysis results of frequency, structure, reasons of occurrence of the acquired valvular diseases in children in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are presented in article. 129 children in the age from 1 year to 15 years were exmined. The most frequent reason of formation of the acquired valvular diseases is shown 55 СИБИРСКИЙ МЕДИЦИНСКИЙ ЖУРНАЛ № 4`2007 to be infectious endocarditis and rheumatic carditis. Mitral valve defects, then aortic and tricuspid valve defects, and defects of pulmonary valve are noted to prevail in the structure of acquired valvular diseases. Isolated defects are more often observed in comparison with combined defects and valvular insufficiency are observed more often in comparison with valvular stenosis. Recommendations are given concerning performing ultrasound research of the heart for duly diagnosis and optimization of dispensaire observation of children with acquired valvular diseases.
