Summary:This article is devoted to analysis of archaeological and ethnographic data of animal grounds in burial practice of Sakha-Yakuts of XV XX centuries AC. Given materials allow to suppose that main totem animals for Yakuts were there horse and cows. In particular, cult of horse especially was manifested in human burial practice and graves of cows were organized only in cult of Ytygylyaasyn. Burials of dog in researched archaeological sites were in ritual of sacrifice and protection. In general, graves of horses, cows, dogs and animals show the presence of different burial, ritual and shamanistic features reflected the complexity, con-tradictoriness, strong and weak aspects of Yakutian traditional belief.
