Summary: | Results of treatment of 945 patients at the Center of Ambulatory Surgery in Khanty-Mansiysk were analyzed. They were operated for hernia, chronic hemorrhoids, chronic calculous cholecystitis, varicose disease of lower extremities. Comparison group contained 474 patients with analogous diseases operated in conditions of twenty-four-hour hospital, Application of highly technologic methods such as methods of hernioplasly using reticular prostheses, ligation of hemorrhoidal nodes with infra-red coagulation, miniphlebectomy permitted to widen the volume of operative interventions in ambulatory conditions. Economic efficiency of the Center of Ambulatory Surgery with daily hospital in comparison with twenty-four-hour one is significant.
