Description
Despite scientific community’s attention to the globalization phenomenon, first of all to the deciphering of its target and value aspects, results of these research efforts are unsatisfactory. Meanwhile, in a deepening crisis of the world system, globalism is the ideological factor that supports it and directs its development. It specifies the format and logic of social and cultural development of the world-system, and as such it must be investigated in its subjective, target and value guises. My research is directed to clarifying the intrigue of the genesis of global peace structure, which is associated with the implementation of installations of the ideology of globalism in relation to non-Western civilizations. So the subject of my study is globalism as ideological unification program for polycentric world, in particular, for existing civilization mosaic. In my research, I used logical explication of the concept of ‘globalism’, ‘Global studies’ as an interdisciplinary research paradigm, and global-evolutionary and civilizational approaches as methodological tools. In my article, I explored the current understandings of global processes, which include economic and political projection. Unfortunately, some authors (for example, Alexander N. Chumakov) believe globalization is an objective process. In contrast, the philosophical studies of such different authors, such as Alexander S. Panarin, Alexander A. Zinoviev and Nikita N. Moiseev, demonstrate a certain subjective logic in the development of globalizations. Therefore, I concluded a causal relationship between globalism and globalization. Meanwhile, a recently released and highly sought Jacques Attali’s globalist concept confirms this view. I make the following conclusion: ideology of globalism bears in itself counter-systemic and destructive intentions and goals in relation to the international community of civilizations. These goals are: ‘market-conquering’, triumph of high-tech, and ‘trans-humanity’. Consequently, in the 21st century, globalism leaves little chance for traditional civilizations with their cultural codes, values and anthropological plots. Keywords: globalism, ideology of globalism, globalization, Western civilization, global transformation, evolutionary deadlock.
