Description
Summary:The study was devoted to investigation of parasite-host relations in respect of adaptation of the two Arctic T. nativa isolates to laboratory rodents. One studied the biological properties of each isolate at passages on white rats and mice: morphometic values, reproduction potential, duration of parasitizing, mean infection intensity values and resistance to low temperature in muscles of several animal species being Trichinella hosts. The study was aimed on selection of experimental model of natural Trichinella infection screening of protective agents.
