Summary:Central Siberian Biosphere Reserve is the place where the population of moose deer is highly concentrated and noticeably increases in winter period. The density of moose deer is the most in the area of the left-bank flood-plain (about 8-12 species per 1000 hectares). In connection with long-term preservation the animals have developed adaptive features of behavior, certain ways of migration, and winter movements from neighboring territories which are being subject to intensive development.
