Summary:The paper gives qualitative estimation of the Amur game fish species taken upstream and downstream of the city of Khabarovsk during a period of an anthropogenous pollution of the Amur waters as to their sanitary and microbiological indices. It was shown that during a freezingover period the quality of studied fish caught downstream of the place of the confluence of the Sungary River (China) and the Amur (upstream of the city) was as to sanitary and microbiological indices lower than these indices in fish taken in the downstream of the river. During the period of an opened riverbed such situation does not survive. The Amur fish species – burbot, crucian, smelt – do not meet the requirements of sanitary and microbiological quality control, and are not of high food and trade value.
