The yield of edible mushrooms in south taiga of the Perm Territory was studied. It was found out that an average yield of edible mushrooms in mountainsorrel sprucegroves is 24.2 kg/ha, in greenmoss pine forests – 39.7 kg/ha, motleygrass birch woods – 51.5 kg/ha. In the territory of the Ochyor Region...

Description
Summary:The yield of edible mushrooms in south taiga of the Perm Territory was studied. It was found out that an average yield of edible mushrooms in mountainsorrel sprucegroves is 24.2 kg/ha, in greenmoss pine forests – 39.7 kg/ha, motleygrass birch woods – 51.5 kg/ha. In the territory of the Ochyor Region it is possible to gather 1055.2 tons of edible mushrooms for a season. To calculate an approximate biomass of edible mushrooms that may be gathered from a certain area for a season the following equation was derived: C = (9a + b) / 10 Ч S kg, where C –biomass of mushrooms, kg a – yield of mushrooms on “nonmushroombearing” area, kg/ha (90 %) b – yield of mushrooms on “mushroombearing” area, kg/ha (10 %) S – area under study, ha
