Summary:The impact of thyroxin (0.1 mg/animal) and mercazolil (10 mg/animal) on an antioxidant system and isoenzyme spectra of lactadehydrogenase of six organs and tissues (liver, kidneys, lungs, spleen, heart and skeletal muscular tissues) of 7yearold males and females of polar fox (Alopex lagopus L.) was studied. A less pronounced response to the administration of thyroxin and mercazolil from isoenzymes of lactadehydrogenase as compared with the response of phylogenetically younger antioxi dant system was revealed. A high resistance of the systems studied to the impact of examined biologically active preparations was found out.
