Description
Summary:Immunization of pregnant females of Arctic fox 14 days ahead of the expected date of kit birth with vaccine against salmonellosis of attenuated strains of salmonells for an oral use is innocuous and does not cause a negative effect on the course of pregnancy and kit birth. It provides strong specific immunity in animals maximum indices of which fall to the moment of kit birth. It has a significant effect on the forming of the immune system of a litter during the first days of life. Tests of a suggested scheme of immunization of furbearing animals against salmonellosis under conditions of a farm showed its reasonability and economic efficiency. The use of new improved schemes of immunization of furbearing animals against salmonellosis favours the improvement of an epizootic situation in fur farms and makes it possible to maintain a high immune status of a stock during all periods of animal breeding and favours the improvement of situation in the farms where there are cases of salmonellosis.
