| Summary: | The analysis of an epizootic situation on necrobacteriosis of reindeer in the farms of Taimyr autonomous area was made. It was found that the number of reindeer with necrobacteriosis made up annually from 7.1 to 33.3% of the livestock total number. Mass outbreaks of that disease were registered only in a summer-autumn period. The efficiency of new antibacterial preparations (gentamycin and claphoran) was shown experimentally. It was found that claphoran should be given in a dose of 20 mg and gentamycin – in a dose of 4 mg/kg of the live weight of an animal. The experiment showed that due to the use of mineral additives a 7–fold decrease of the animals’ disease rate in the experiment was observed, polyglobulin – more than a 4.5-fold decrease, insecticide repellent treatment – a 4–6-fold decrease. |
