Description
Summary:This abstract demonstrates interaction between symbols of Dolgan culture (such as dolgan tent, boat), symbols of traditional Russian culture (such as izba,) and symbols of international Soviet culture (such us transmission line, trawler) in the structure of S.F.Turov's art work "Half-title to the poetry section of the collection "Baraksan" wrote by O. Aksenova". These interactions model a type of cross-cultural communication, where Soviet culture stands as interlink between Dolgan culture and traditional Russian culture. All cultures that are represented in the art work influence on each other: Soviet and Russian societies bring a progress to Dolgan people, and Dolgan art enriches Soviet and Russian culture
