Summary:The influence of the inhibitors of the MPB row against carbonic acid and hydrogen sulphide corrosion of St3 was studied. The effect of inhibitor concentration, medium composition and experiment duration is discussed. The behavior of the steel under cathode and anode polarization in the above media was investigated. The studied inhibitors decrease hydrogen permeation into the steel under the corrosion potential.
