Experience of works on mapping dynamics of Ust-Ilim taiga vegetation with use of Landsat-5 images and programs MapInfo and ERDASE IMAGINE is given an example. In opinion of the authors, the similar approach promotes improvement of quality of training of students as it is directed on development to them not technical, but the engineering, creative principles.
