Description
Summary:Article is devoted to a problem of development in students of interest to training to GIS-technologies. Students should not master mechanically routine techniques of work, and should understand sense of work and be able to carry out the spatial analysis of results. For this purpose authors offer the complex approach, which is based on sharing of GIS-programs and the modern data of remote sensing during actual thematic mapping. Experience of works on mapping dynamics of Ust-Ilim taiga vegetation with use of Landsat-5 images and programs MapInfo and ERDASE IMAGINE is given an example. In opinion of the authors, the similar approach promotes improvement of quality of training of students as it is directed on development to them not technical, but the engineering, creative principles.
