Summary:The article is devoted to the issues related to evaluation of the Kotlas Pulp and Paper Mill possible effects on the environment. Methods of integral qualitative and quantitative evaluation used for determining the soils pollution of the Arkhangelsk region south are based on spatial, time, hydro meteorological, geological, physical and geographical and some other factors. The dominating type of the aero-technogenic pollutant sulphur-containing compounds is determined and possible chemical reactions of their behavior in the natural environment are considered.
