Статья посвящена исследованию одной из составляющих богатства сказового языка И.С. Шмелева, а именно, рассмотрению особенностей согласованных и несогласованных обособленных определений. Особое внимание уделено крайней детализации описания предметов, символичности авторских эпитетов. В статье рассмотрены в том числе и причастные обороты, отражающие суть описываемых художественных образов. The present article is dedicated to the research of one of the compounds of the richness of I.S. Schmelyov's language stylized under the specific tale of Russian factory-hand-people (mostly from the north of European part and from the Urals), that is the considering of the peculiarities of concordant and discordant isolated attributes. The manifestations of different aspects of syntactic peculiarities of this author's isolated attributes are analyzed in the concrete examples from the works' texts. Particularly, special attention is paid to extreme detailing of objects description, to the symbolicalness of the author's epithets. Shmelyov describes trifles that are significant in detailed way, that is from the point of view of very different circumstantial characteristics. The participial constructions reflecting the essence of the described artistic images as something especially substantial are also described in the article. The peculiarity of the writer's tale style (just as of Russian factoryhandpeople from the bank of the Arctic and in the Urals) that is displayed in brief but brilliant, unforgettable images, inclusiveness of expressing the essence of what is happening, is considered in more detailed way. In the article, the examples of Shmelyov's participle attributes are given. The examples of stringed lexeme ranges were picked up so that they can show the simbolicalness of the author's definitions in the best way. Special attention is paid to the skilful using by the author the category of the participle tense. And also to the isolated single attributes in postposition and their special role in developing the artistic images. The exclusive functional emphasis and originality that characterize just I.S. Shmelyov's single discordant attributes are investigated. So, the profound perusal of "simple" attributes by the author Shmelyov shows us one of the most talented literary artist.
