Summary:Nominal catch of number of fish per unit of effort (CPUEs) of the North Atlantic albacore (Thunnus alalunga) caught by the Spanish bait boat fleet in the Northeastern Atlantic were collected by trip for the period 1981-2019. Standardized index was estimated using Generalized Linear Random Effects Model (GLMM) with log-normal error distribution. The year*month interaction term and year*zone interaction term were included in the model as random effects to derive the annual standardized catch rates as relative index of abundance for 1981 - 2019.
