This includes the first account for many groups of eukaryotic microorganisms. We also introduce a first catalogue of amplicon sequence variants (ASVs) of the prokaryote biodiversity. Available listings to data were searched, integrated, taxonomically harmonized and curated by experts to create comprehensive checklists of Antarctic organisms Dr. Luis R. Pertierra was funded by an ASICS South Africa EU-Biodiversa postdoctoral contract. This paper is a contribution to the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) Scientific Research Programme 'Integrated science to inform Antarctic and Southern Ocean Conservation' (Ant-ICON).
