Summary:ICEFISH Cruise (29HE20010119) carried out on the Research Vessel Hespérides in 2001 Physiological adaptations of fish in ice (Channichtyidae family) during development, with special reference to the expression and activity of the inducible form of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) .The objective of the campaign is to capture larvae of ice fish to determine: 1) The different isoforms of nitric oxide synthases, the level of protein and mRNA, as mollecular markers of hyperoxia.2) The stage of larval development by allocating the age by otolith analysis and RNA / DNA rates. 3) determine the oxygen consumption under controlled conditions
