Monitoring in a high-arctic environment:Some lessons from MANA

Monitoring terrestrial high-arctic ecosystems is difficult because of their limited access, extreme weather, and absence of communication infrastructure. A sensor-network-based data acquisition system in Zackenberg, Greenland, addresses these challenges.
