The workshop was supported by WCRP, the National Science Foundation (NSF; United States), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA; United States), Agencia Nacional de Promoción Científica y Técnica (Argentina), and the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (Argentina).
